About Worthington Insurance Advisory
Worthington Avenue is a street in a mostly working-class Memphis, Tennessee neighborhood. This is the street Jacky Akbari grew up on in the 1960’s. Family principles and life advice were shared around the dinner table on Worthington Avenue, and when Worthington Insurance Advisory was founded, a reflection on humble beginnings was a key point of emphasis. Worthington Insurance Advisory will be firm that has the local communities’ best interest with every step that we take. We are here to be your partner in risk management as you make important decisions personally and professionally. Each of our clients makes strategic innovations to their personal or business processes, and Worthington’s role is to drive overall performance to exceed mission critical goals. As the trusted advisor to key stakeholders and decision leaders, we create strategy producing results for your uniquely desired outcome.

Austin Akbari
Insurance Advisor and Founder
Austin obtained his undergraduate degree at of The University of Tennessee, and he’s currently pursing an MBA at the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business. Austin has an established track record with proven success in relationship management, business development, and financial services. In his professional career prior to joining the larger Worthington Advisory family and founding Worthington Insurance Advisory, he held roles with AllianceBernstein, UBS – Investment Bank, and SunTrust Bank.
As a passionate professional who’s only goal is to care for his community and those around him, Austin uses his role as an Insurance Advisor to ensure every Worthington Insurance Advisory client is treated and protected like family. Austin was born and raised in Tennessee this community is his home. He is an active person and spends most of his free time on the golf course or at an ice rink as an active member of the ice hockey community in Nashville, he has played since he was a child. Austin is happily married to his wife Grace and was just blessed with his first child, a son Archie.
Jacky Akbari
Worthington Advisory Consulting - Managing Principal
Jacky Akbari is a nationally recognized leader with a track record of achievement in strategy consulting. Jacky has previously held senior positions in government relations, workforce economic development, human capital consulting and national sales and marketing teams. An experienced economic development strategist, she developed and executed key stakeholder partnership strategy for business expansion and relocation projects with Dell, Mars Petcare, AT&T, Nissan North America, UBS, Alliance Bernstein, Amazon, Oracle, Microsoft, Asurion, Vanderbilt University, and many others. As a senior level manager, she’s trained over 5,000 sales people in consultative sales skills.

A graduate of The Ohio State University, she holds a certificate in workforce diversity from UCLA Executive Extension. She is an active member of the Downtown Nashville Rotary club. A past co-chair of the Rotary Program Committee and Rotaract, she was elected to the Nashville Rotary Board.
Hunter Bradford

Hunter Bradford Bio: Hunter Bradford is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in the campaign, non-profit, and insurance sectors. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama. With extensive experience acquired through roles at 2ndVote, Western Express, and State Farm, Hunter brings a breadth of knowledge and expertise to our team at Worthington Insurance Advisory.
Specializing in personal lines insurance, Hunter is committed to serving as a trusted guide for individuals, families, and the Greater Nashville community in their pursuit of financial security. Holding licenses in property, casualty, life, and health insurance, he offers comprehensive coverage solutions to mitigate various risks, ensuring the protection of valuable assets and liability exposures. Hunter's unwavering dedication to safeguarding your interests makes him an invaluable resource.
Born and raised in Nashville, Hunter's passion extends beyond his professional pursuits. As an avid fan of Alabama football and basketball, the Atlanta Braves, and the Tennessee Titans, he brings a well-rounded perspective to his interactions and fosters connections beyond the realm of insurance. Hunter's commitment to professionalism, combined with his genuine care for the well-being of his clients, sets him apart as an exceptional insurance advisor.
